Significant experience

Here I am at home doing some last preparations for the significant experience happening tomorrow as I will be walking my 72km route march. It will end by friday and I will be getting my red beret on the same day.

Well.. hopefully, it will be good if you can send me some encouraging words during the night as I walk. It will be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, looking forward to that special day. All the best to myself and my fellow comrades!

Taiwan is fun!

Ahha! I’m back from Taiwan. Reached Singapore at about 0030 this morning. Wah, taking a cab home is super expensive.

Climbed quite a number of mountains there. Pretty tough for some though, but at least you get to enjoy the beautiful scenery when u reached the top.

Got lots of great food there, most of my money are spend on food…food and food. Unfortunately, recreation is very short on the so called last 3 days, or rather 2 days only.

I was shopping against time there, no time to consider, so just buy whatever you want before there’s no more time left and you ended up with nothing.

And my highly recommended places are 士林夜市 Shilin Night Market and 西門町 Xi Men Ding. Must go!!

I will try to post some pics here in the next few days.

Departing again..

Hoho.. I will be leaving for Taiwan later for another 3 weeks.

Looking forward to this trip pretty much. I guess there will be alot of things over there to shop as summer’s approaching. Wohoo!

Alright, take care everyone. Bye.

Back to enjoy

Hohoho! I’m back!!  It really feels good to be back home in Singapore.

After enduring through the Brunei “adventure” camp, I’m back to enjoy life to the fullest. Fortunately, it didn’t seem to be as tough as expected after hearing all the stories previously. I guess we were just lucky. There are quite a number of defining moments and those would be unforgettable. Other than that, I would say it’s really not easy to have finish through the whole thing. Somehow after, you wouldn’t believe how you manage to do it.

Overall, it’s a lifetime experience.

A big hurdle to clear

Very soon, I will be leaving for Brunei in less than 12 hours.

This 3 week “adventure” camp will be a big hurdle to clear as part of my training. So I hope I will be able to persevere and finish it through. Yea.

I will be back in 3 weeks ;)

新年快樂!!!

Happy Lunar New Year!!!

May everyone be blessed and enjoy a fatty piggy year! Stay healthy and happy!

Silver wings upon my chest

Yeah. Finally completed all my 3 jumps and I have my wings now.

I was really nervous and perspire alot while in the aircraft waiting to jump yesterday. But heck lah, I just jump without thinking much anyway. Because, no matter what, still must jump… lol.

One objective fufill and a burden less.

I got a night-out yesterday. So went with my khakis to tampines to grab a bite. We finished eating and it was also time to head back to camp, so we boarded 29. We were sitting at the back seat and chatting around. Halfway through the journey, I noticed her. Sitting at my 11 o’clock on the first right seat of the left vertical row at the front of the bus, she looks just that beautiful.

My goodness. So I told my buddy sitting next to me about it, and he just replied “not my type, but not bad”. Aaargh… Wah kao… Then he said “she belongs to those kawaii type”. Yeap, that’s a better answer. Forgive me as I obviously want to hear a good answer at that point of time. She was talking to her friends… and I told him how nice her smile was, but from his reply, I’m the only one who saw it… aargh….

She has sandy hair, wearing a pink striped polo tee, some pinky or red earrings, white skirt, and white sandals. That smile, when she talked to her friends, just brightens herself up. So my buddy somehow morally encourage me to go and talk to her, but I guess it was late. We’re reaching camp in a few stops and I’m pretty sure she’s going to one of the chalets at changi. I was hesitant, and you should know saying is easier than done right? Sigh… so we reached the bus stop outside camp and alighted. I was walking down and looked as the bus drive off, when something happened.

She turned and smiled at me!!! OMG!!! (I was sure she’s not smiling to her friends). Time slowed down and my heart melted at that moment. AH!!! It was an opportunity lost……………. The walk back to camp felt very heavy…sigh..

Will I ever see her again?? If there’s really fate, I swear I’m never gona let the opportunity go off again.

And that smile, shall be a big motivation to me.

No jump

So sad, I didn’t jump yesterday.

I was afraid of the 3rd jump. I just seemed to feel more nervous and scared. Prepared for the whole morning, and I had finally managed to prepare myself mentally for it already. And when we were just so close to boarding the aircraft, they said the time is over. My group just got to be the unlucky one. It was a pretty fucked-up feeling. Have to wait till next month then..

HaPpY NEw YeAR 2007!!!

It’s a brand new year!!! May everyone stay happy and healthy!

And I’m back. Arrived this morning at around 5am. Completed my 8 days tour of Jiangnan and Shanghai. I enjoyed the tour alot. The places I went to are lovely. If there’s another time, I might go back again.

I love China, truly the hometown of Chinese people.
